The stock market suffered aftershocks from the recent natural disasters but quickly recovered lost ground. Commodity prices have rallied, but oil remains the big story, and the indicator to watch.

After the sharp downturn caused by the spate of natural disasters, the stock market rebounded to where it had started, with commodity prices resurgent and oil the main talking point as prices reacted to the political upheavals in the Middle East.
